Dawn's on a break and just like any other day, she spends it either in the library to look for something new to read or in the tutor center to finish some volunteered work and today she picked and decided to stay in the center. She's alone and it's quiet and it is what Dawn really wanted things to happen for her. To finish with honor and away from trouble.
She was asked by a professor to checked on a paper from another class and sometimes she wished these kids would pay attention to their studies and drop by to the center to get some help. Why would anyone be ashamed of it anyway. She thought as she overheard last week a student saying she'd rather fail than be known as somebody who needs a tutor.
She sighed heavily at the memory and continued on reading some more papers which she really wanted to be done in time so she can get more free time to get some more things to do. Complicated as it may seem, Dawn's enjoying every bit of it.

Dean had no idea why he was doing this. If word got out that he was in the Tutoring Center asking for help, it would ruin him. Simply ruin him. However, he needed the help. His father, Coach Andrews, had set up a tutoring session for him, as he desperately needed help with his American Lit class. If Dean were to fail the class, his football career would be over.
Staking out the Center until everyone had left, Dean finally opened the door, spotting a very pretty blond girl at the table. She looked familiar, had he slept with her? He wasn't really sure, as their had been so many. However, her face did look extremely familiar.
Walking up to the table Dean, rather impatiently, stood in front of the girl, looking around to make sure no one saw him asking for help. "Uhh, yeah, you a tutor? 'Cause I need some help with my American Lit class." he asked, putting his hands in his pockets as he waited for her reply.

Dawn's serenity was momentarily when somebody came up to her without even knocking. She got a bit irritated and when she looked up, surprise was her immediate reaction. How can a guy like him end up in a place like this. A place, she bets, him and his friends would call palace of the losers.
Mr. popular Dean Andrews wouldn't be here unless he really needed some help. But how can she actually do it if he's one of the person that irritates her a lot, for some obvious reason, he's humiliating her best friend. She knows she has no choice anyway but to help him, though she'll make him work for it. That's the advantage of being the smartest girl in school, she can make the failed ones pass easily.
She slowly nodded, not sure how to communicate with him. He really looks arrogant. "Yeah, I am the tutor. Failing Lit and losing the chance to play in NFL someday?" Dawn's sure about it. None of these jocks would seek for help not unless their NFL dream is on the line.

The tutor's remark about Dean failing Lit and not being accepted into a major league football team some day hit straight where she had meant it. And it stung. However, Dean wasn't about to let this spunky tutor get the best of him ... or at least he wasn't going to be showing it, anyway. "Listen, sweetheart, don't pretend to know me. I know you know who I am but you know nothing about me, so back off!" he told her a little harshly. Way to go, Dean! Way to be a gentlemen.
Dean sighed heavily and rubbed his eyes before sitting down. "I'm sorry." he paused and began to sit back in his chair as he looked around the room, as their was still no one in the center. "You look familiar. Have we ..." he asked, trailing off, hoping she would know what he meant.

Dawn raised an eyebrow on what Dean said. It was a very rude attitude which was not much a surprise for her. His reputation tells a lot about what he really is and with what she heard and saw from her best friend, Dawn knows him more or less. But she needs to stay calm as a professional even though she really wasn't sure if she wants to help this Dean guy.
"You know what, maybe I really don't know you well but I can tell you I've managed to get the F students an A+ so I'm the one you need and the only one who can help so I suggest a little tone down with the attitude." She said to him calmly. Dawn isn't the type who gives up easily especially if it's about tutoring but Dean's the type who needs to be tamed a little.
She chuckled when she heard his question as she gave him the form he needs to fill up just for the record. "Listen, I know you, I mean your name, your status and reputation but you and I don't have a 'we' thing. So to answer you directly, no we haven't been on the same bed together."
